Requirements:
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience and ability to safely operate material handling equipment
- Experience using pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, shipping documents, and work orders
- Basic computer and scanning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the shift
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Job Duties:
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations by unloading trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and distribute materials by lot number
- Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine material movement and order fulfillment
- Inspect incoming cargo for accuracy and damage, documenting discrepancies as needed
- Complete shipping and receiving paperwork, logs, and inventory documentation
- Verify proper product identification and labeling
- Sort and store materials by account, part number, and designated warehouse location
- Operate forklifts and assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials
- Scan outbound shipments to verify order accuracy and quality before shipping
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, perform routine equipment inspections, and assist with general warehouse maintenance
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support daily operations
