Hours & Pay
Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (36 hours paid as 40)
Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
What You'll Do Each Day
- Produce quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
- Set up and operate manual machines as needed.
- Read work orders, blueprints, and specifications to plan machining operations.
- Apply a basic understanding of GD&T to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Program mills, lathes, and/or EDMs; set tool registers, offsets, and reference points.
- Verify machine settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces.
- Perform drilling, grooving, turning, facing, and other machining operations while maintaining quality standards.
- Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot processes, and make necessary adjustments.
- Document and communicate actions across shifts to ensure continuity.
- Maintain equipment, a clean workspace, and adherence to safety and quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001).
- Support continuous improvement by applying LEAN practices.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of CNC machine operation experience (pay DOE).
- Associate degree or technical training preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering plans, and safety documentation.
- Strong math skills (fractions, geometry, ratios, proportions).
- Experience with forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, crouching, and climbing.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a focus on producing quality results.
