Requirements
- At least two years of CNC Torin spring coiler setup experience
- Experience operating Torin Size 10 through Size 12 machines
- Torsion spring manufacturing experience required
- Ability to program, adjust, and troubleshoot Torin equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Stable work history
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must live within approximately 40 minutes of Springfield
- Ability to work overtime
- Casual work attire
Job Duties
- Set up and operate CNC Torin spring coiling machines
- Manufacture torsion springs and related products
- Program and adjust equipment for production runs
- Troubleshoot problems and optimize machine performance
- Read engineering drawings and production documentation
- Inspect finished springs for quality and accuracy
- Minimize equipment downtime
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Support continuous-improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
