On the Job
- Read and interpret job specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine machine settings and material requirements.
- Set up CNC equipment, adjust stops and guides, and position workpieces to meet dimensional tolerances.
- Operate machinery using controls, pedals, and programmed settings; perform minor program edits and properly save changes.
- Inspect parts for defects and measure dimensions using precision tools to ensure quality control compliance.
- Perform secondary operations including deburring, rivet installation, and spot welding.
- Complete routine preventive maintenance such as oiling machines and maintaining dies and tooling.
- Load and unload materials, stack, label, pack, and transport finished components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with manufacturing best practices.
What Gets You in the Door
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, CNC machining, or industrial assembly experience.
- Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and powered equipment.
- Strong math skills including basic algebra and geometry.
- Team-oriented with solid communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
