CNC Machine Programming Technician Requirements: Built for Precision
- GED or high school diploma required.
- 1 years of hands on CNC machining knowledge, including introductory programming experience of machining equipment.
- Must be able to read, interpret, and work from engineering prints, drawings, and sketches.
- Understand and manipulate G and M Code.
- Proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD software
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills.
- Able to lift materials and remain on your feet through the shift.
Your Everyday Hustle
- Create and optimize CNC programs and tooling strategies for prototype and production parts.
- Partner with R&D teams to support product development and transition designs into full-scale manufacturing.
- Analyze blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T specifications to determine machining methods and tooling requirements.
- Improve machining processes to reduce cycle times, extend tool life, and minimize secondary operations.
- Develop and validate CNC programs, setups, and process documentation.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and support day-to-day production needs.
- Train machinists and setup teams on new or improved processes.
- Conduct process audits to enhance quality, efficiency, and process control.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
