Staff Management Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our client in Lyndhurst, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 4AM – 12:30PM or
- 2nd Shift: 12PM – 8:30PM
- Sunday to Friday
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $17.36 hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable Warehouse Associates to support daily operations in a cold storage facility. This role involves packing, labeling, sorting, and preparing food products for shipment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a refrigerated environment and committed to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pack, label, and sort food products according to company standards
- Prepare items for shipment and ensure proper handling of goods
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently
- Palletize boxes and stage products for distribution
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Support additional warehouse tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work in a cold storage environment (34°F – 38°F)
- Must wear appropriate warm clothing
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:
- Cold storage environment with temperatures ranging from 34°F to 38°F (1°C to 3°C)
- Fast-paced setting with a focus on productivity and accuracy
