Staff Management Group is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for our client in South Plainfield, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 3rd Shift: 10:45PM - 6:45AM
- Must complete training on the first and second shifts before starting independently
- 1st Shift: 2–3 weeks of training, 9AM – 5:30PM
- 2nd Shift: 2 weeks of training, 2:45PM – 10:45PM
- Plus overtime
Pay Rate:
- $20 / hour
Job Summary:
The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring products are packaged correctly and meeting quality standards before they are shipped to customers. The primary objective of quality control is to identify and rectify defects or deviations from established quality criteria to maintain high product quality following quality standards procedure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control checks and inspections on products.
- Ensure all products meet company standards and specifications.
- Accurately document findings and communicate issues to management.
- Work independently or collaboratively as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (bilingual preferred)
- Computer literate
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Some prior QC experience is required
