Staff Management Group is seeking an Order Picker - Forklift Operator for our client in Linden, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 8AM - 4:30PM
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $19 / hour
Job Summary:
The Order Picker - Forklift Operator will operate a turret, cherry picker, and reach truck to transport materials. They will also scan items for inventory tracking, ensuring safety and efficiency while handling materials.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate an order picker forklift to pull and move inventory
- Pick and prepare orders using pick lists or RF scanners
- Stage, palletize, and organize products for shipping
- Perform basic equipment checks and follow all safety procedures
Job Requirements:
- Experience operating an order picker (SPECIFICALLY)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Forklift certification needed
