Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator (Order Picker / Reach / Sit-Down) for our client in Monroe Township, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 7:30AM - 4PM
- Saturdays required
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $18 - $19 / hour
Job Summary:
We are currently hiring experienced Forklift Operators (Order Picker / Reach / Sit-Down) to support warehouse operations in Monroe Township, NJ. This role involves operating multiple types of equipment—including order pickers, reach trucks, and sit-down forklifts—while also assisting with general warehouse tasks across different departments. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate Order Picker (Cherry Picker), Reach Truck, and Sit-Down (Propane) forklifts safely and efficiently
- Move, load, and organize materials throughout the warehouse
- Pick and stage orders using warehouse equipment
- Assist in various departments as needed (not limited to forklift operation)
- Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Support overall warehouse operations and team productivity.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
- At least 3 years of prior experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck, and Sit-Down forklifts required
- Ability to work in multiple departments and perform general warehouse duties
- Basic English communication skills required
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass an equipment test (test drive)
- Must complete an interview with the hiring manager
- Strong attention to safety and detail
