Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Turret Operator, Reach Truck Operator, and Order Picker Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment safely, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. 8:30am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities
- Operate turret trucks, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Perform order picking with various equipment including order pickers and
pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently - Manage inventory movement using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and locations
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with OSHA standards
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal performance and safety standards
- Support warehouse distribution activities by handling heavy lifting tasks, pallet jack operations, and materials handling procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience operating reach trucks, turret operators, or similar heavy equipment within a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to forklift operation and materials handling
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy
- Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or warehouse distribution is highly desirable
- Valid forklift certification or equivalent licenses for heavy equipment operation
