Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 7AM - 4PM
- Plus overtime
Pay Rate:
- $22- $24 / hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher to help coordinate the daily operations of our small fleet of 6–7 trucks. This position is responsible for communicating with drivers, scheduling deliveries and pickups, and helping keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a good communicator, can stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys solving problems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch drivers for daily deliveries and pickups.
- Stay in contact with drivers throughout the day by phone and text.
- Update customers on delivery times or delays when needed.
- Keep dispatch records and paperwork organized.
- Assist with routing and adjusting schedules when changes come up.
- Track truck locations and delivery progress.
- Help coordinate truck maintenance appointments.
- Work with the office team to keep daily operations running efficiently.
- Perform other office and dispatch duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service, office, dispatch, or logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy work environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
