Job Title: Water/Wastewater Project Engineer  Job Location: Hunt Valley, MD  Job Type: Full time Job Description:  Analyze project requirements and information from alternative studies to develop an accurate report for submittal. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects/tasks Assessing and identifying collection/distribution system performance deficiencies, predicting future issues, and developing solutions for planning and design projects Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with hydraulic designs, sewer rehabilitation, water and sewer design, water and water/wastewater pump station and treatment process design, engineering economics, preparation of specifications and engineering report writing Candidates should have a firm grasp of general heavy construction principles; environmental facilities operations-related experience is considered a plus Perform design computations Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools Develop or review the construction cost estimate. Prepare and compile contract plans, specifications and estimates Attend meetings with clients and assist taking meeting minutes Coordinate with other disciplines and understand how they fit into the project and design. Quality review of project design in accordance with the Project Management Plan. Technical oversight and guidance/support of Design Engineers within department. Required Experience 5-10 Years’ Experience A bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited university Proficient in related design software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, and MS Project Proficient in Microsoft Office Written and communication skills Preferred Experience Possess a Professional Engineering License  Experience working with local clients at the county and state level

Salary : $70,000 - $130,000
