Commercial Director or General Manager

This role is critical to establishing and scaling the company’s presence with client brand diesel and gas genset range (<200 kVA) in the United States power generation market. The position will be responsible for building a strong distribution ecosystem, managing supply chain and inventory efficiently, developing strategic partnerships, managing product support and customer satisfaction, and driving long-term revenue growth across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
1. Well-connected within the power generation ecosystem in USA including distributors, small
scale agents, EPC firms, electrical contractors, commercial/residential developers and utilities.
2. Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory and compliance requirements including EPA emission
norms (Environmental Protection Agency (USA), Tier 4 standards and OSHA-related compliance
for industrial equipment (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
3. Proven experience in building distribution networks and strategic channel partnerships.
4. Experience working with CRM and sales management platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent.
5. Experience managing a profit & loss statement
6. Willingness to travel extensively across the United States.
1. The ideal candidate will be a well-networked industry leader within the U.S. power generation market with
proven experience building distribution channels and driving revenue growth for industrial generator or backup power solutions. The candidate should be capable of managing the supply chain and inventory efficiently.
2. This role is best suited for a professional who has previously worked with major power generation OEMs,
generator manufacturers, or commercial/residential equipment distributors and possesses deep market
insight, strong commercial leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to scale small sized diesel and gas genset markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and adherence to company policies; leads the team to do the same.
2. Lead the U.S. market expansion strategy for diesel and gas generator range through strong
distribution and channel networks.
3. Establish a business presence for Green Power and strong brand presence in the USA.
4. Collaborate closely with global leadership, engineering teams, and product manufacturing, and
product development to align market needs with product offerings.
5. Establish, develop, and manage the team for successful growth of the business and the personnel.
6. Establish the service team and infrastructure for the business.
7. Manage inventory and identify strategic locations for warehousing of the stock gensets.

9. Establish the company’s distribution footprint in the focus regions, including identification of regional partners,
distributor onboarding, and development of go-to-market strategies.
10. Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with major distributors, EPC contractors, agents, engineering
consultants and commercial/residential infrastructure developers.
11. Drive territory specific business and growth strategy, revenue generation, and market penetration initiatives across the focus regions.
12. Lead negotiations and close supply agreements and establish long-term strategic partnerships.
13. Provide leadership with market intelligence, competitive insights, pricing benchmarks, and demand forecasts within the generator and backup power market of the focus regions.
14. Represent the organization in industry forums, trade shows, strategic client meetings, and major business
development initiatives.
Salary : $150,000 - $190,000
