Job Title: Sr Legal Receptionist & Switchboard
Type: 3 months contract to hire
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
Location: Washington, DC 20004, US
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Total Hours: 40 per week
Job Description
Greeting guests and answering phones with professional etiquette.
Responding to emails and managing conference room scheduling.
Ordering food/catering for meetings and maintaining visitor security procedures.
Performing light administrative tasks such as entering invoices and working in Microsoft Excel.
Assisting attorneys, paralegals, and legal administrative staff with value-added services.
Maintaining professional appearance of the lobby and workspace.
Providing concierge-style support for guests and staff (local restaurants, coffee houses, etc.).
Ordering supplies and performing light hospitality tasks (coffee, water, etc.).
Lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of related business experience, preferably in a law firm/legal environment.
Strong MS Office Suite skills (Word and Excel).
Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism.
Salary : $21 - $22
