Job Title: QC Analyst I – Microbiology

Location: Memphis, TN 38118
Pay Rate: $21.13/hr on W2
Contract Duration: Approximately 6 Months
Shift: Sunday – Thursday | 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Interview Process: 45-minute Virtual Interview

Position Summary:
We are seeking a QC Analyst I – Microbiology to support routine environmental monitoring, product release testing, and raw material testing within a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform environmental monitoring, including viable air particulate sampling, non-viable particulate monitoring, surface sampling, and personnel monitoring
• Process routine microbiological samples and testing
• Receive and maintain laboratory raw materials, media, reagents, and supplies
• Follow SOPs and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure data integrity
• Support routine laboratory organization and upkeep
• Utilize GMP systems such as MODA and other laboratory software systems
• Review QC test results for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain testing documentation to support timely product release
• Assist with inventories, logs, filing, and laboratory records
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related scientific discipline required
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience preferred
• Experience in cGMP/FDA-regulated environments is a plus
• Understanding of microbiology and aseptic techniques
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with full gowning requirements
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Experience or familiarity with:

• Laser particle counters
• Viable air samplers
• Microscopes
• Endosafe® instrumentation
• PCR
• BacT/ALERT systems
