What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor III position at Staffing?
Must-Have Requirements
- 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- 1 year of experience with Lean Manufacturing principles/processes
- Experience coordinating production and/or warehouse operations
- Strong ability to lead, manage, and develop employees
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strongly Preferred
- Experience managing a unionized workforce
- Manufacturing leadership experience involving quality, safety, productivity, and cost reduction
- Knowledge of manufacturing compliance/regulations such as:
- OSHA
- EPA
- FDA
- USDA
- HACCP
- Experience with Lean/process improvement, efficiency, and cost-saving initiatives
- Interview: Panel interview
