What You'll Do:
- Facilitate end-to-end onboarding, from pre-employment preparations to post-hire activities
- Oversee daily I9 activities, review completion statuses, identify overdue requirements, conduct reverifications, and partner with employees and managers to ensure federal compliance timelines are met
- Manage caseloads through Case Management Systems, respond promptly to inquiries, and meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Escalate complex issues involving candidates, employees, managers, HR, vendors, or external authorities when needed
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company policies, employment eligibility laws, and risk management processes
- Support operational audits, documentation reviews, and compliance activities to uphold standards
- Safeguard sensitive data by adhering to confidentiality protocols
- Use HR platforms such as Workday and ServiceNow to coordinate onboarding workflows, I9 tasks, and case documentation
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear, accurate, and proactive communication throughout the onboarding journey
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in HR, onboarding, compliance, or administrative support in a regulated environment
- Working knowledge of Form I9 requirements, including Sections 1 and 2, reverifications, and employment eligibility documentation
- Experience with HR systems like Workday, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet SLAs
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Capable of applying a risk-based approach to decision-making and issue resolution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital workflow navigation
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with I9 auditing, corrections, or E-Verify processes
- Prior background supporting high-volume onboarding or HR operations
- Familiarity with federal employment eligibility laws and documentation standards
- HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP (preferred but not mandatory)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A relevant higher education background or HR-related certifications preferred
- Supporting roles in busy onboarding environments with a focus on compliance and customer service

Salary : $25 - $26
