Material Handler: Melbourne, FL
Pay: Mid shift: $17.75/hr
Pay: 2nd shift: $18.75/hr
Description:
- Receive, stock, issue parts in bulk area and/or by operating automated carousel. Verify items quantity and condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by utilizing bar codes and computerized inventory systems.
- Prepare, package and ship products/parts per specified procedures. Pick up and deliver items, internal and external to facility.
- Cycle count inventory items.
- Perform stock transaction via computerized inventory system. Position demands constant standing, frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Requires valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Read and comprehend simple oral and written instructions.
- Knowledge of computers and basic data entry skills.
- Candidate will be working in a shipping/receiving warehouse.
- Duties will include unloading trucks and unpacking boxes; pulling stockroom materials.
REQUIRED:
VALID FLORIDA DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED***
- HS diploma or GED -must be verified through Accurate Information Systems
- a candidate with lots of energy
- ability to consistently lift 25 pounds, and can lift up to 50 pounds
- must be able to stand 8 hours/day
- ability to operate a computer: there will be simple SAP entries for this position (SAP experience is NOT required)
