What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Craftsmen Contractors LLC?
Craftsmen Contractors is hiring an experienced Receiver/Material Handler for the Titusville, Florida area.
Must have experience with overhead cranes and forklifts. The job consists of inventory tracking, onloading, and staging. Experience with Tekla Powerfab is a plus. The work schedule is Monday through Friday (occasional Saturday). Full-time position and overtime when available.
Weekly pay by direct deposit.
Starting pay rate is $17 - $22/hour, depending on experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Unload and load materials
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator - 2 steady years
- Must be attentive and aware of industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
- Need to be aware of all surroundings at all times
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Will need to be dependable.
- Must be on time and in attendance every day unless prior approval.
