Title: Construction Coordinator
Location: Buffalo, WV 25033-On-site
Duration: 8 months with possibility of extension

What we’re looking for:
Construction Coordinator with extensive construction experience, preferably as a superintendent, supervisor, construction manager at a general contractor, or owner representative company, and 10 years of experience.
- Able to review drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed in accordance with the construction documents.
- Able to read and review construction schedules, create 3-week lookaheads, and conduct whiteboard meetings to identify constraints, assign responsibility, and escalate issues to the Project Leader.
- Responsible for conducting quality inspections and supporting commissioning activities, including Kanban.
- Must have extensive safety oversight experience and be OSHA 30 certified.
- Conduct constructability reviews to see if drawings/specifications are good quality and don’t have conflicts/ambiguities.
- Need to be able to work in BlueBeam and Procore and create visual exhibits about the construction progress (Kamishibi).
What you’ll be doing:
- Covering active projects.
- Conduct quality inspections for concrete, slabs, vertical structures, electrical tasks, and other construction activities.
- Support commissioning activities and Kanban processes.
- Ensure work meets high quality and accuracy standards.
- Act as a bridge between field teams and project leadership.
- Support renovation and refurbishment projects, including childcare centres, cafés, offices, restrooms, and new construction projects.
- Create and review project plans using MS Project.
- Develop construction progress exhibits and reports using BlueBeam or similar tools.
Qualifications / What you bring (Must Haves):
- 10 years of construction experience.
- Experience as a supervisor, superintendent, or construction manager.
- Able to read and review construction schedules, create 3-week lookaheads, and conduct whiteboard meetings to identify constraints, assign responsibility, and escalate issues to the Project Leader.
- Responsible for conducting quality inspections and supporting commissioning activities, including Kanban.
- Extensive safety oversight experience.
- OSHA 30 certification or higher required.
- Conduct page turns to determine if drawings/specifications are complete and free of conflicts/ambiguities.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with BlueBeam or similar tools (e.g., Adobe).
- Recent commercial or industrial construction experience required.
- Proficiency in MS Project for creating and reviewing project plans.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
