Varicent ICM Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Varicent ICM Developer to design, develop, configure, and support Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and maintaining compensation plans, developing calculations, data models, workflows, and reports within the Varicent platform. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, sales operations, and technical teams to deliver scalable and accurate compensation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions.
• Build and enhance compensation plans, calculation logic, workflows, scorecards, and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain Varicent data models, import/export processes, and calculation procedures.
• Configure pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration with source systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Varicent solutions.
• Develop and optimize reports and analytics to support sales compensation and business reporting.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to calculations, data loads, and application performance.
• Optimize system performance and improve calculation efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, Business Analysts, and IT teams to implement new compensation plans and enhancements.
• Support production deployments, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design documents, and operational procedures.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in Varicent development and configuration.
• Strong experience implementing and supporting Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions.
• Experience developing calculations, data models, workflows, pipelines, and compensation plans in Varicent.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
• Understanding of sales compensation, commissions, incentive plans, and performance management.
• Experience troubleshooting application, calculation, and data-related issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
