Job Description:
- Lead end-to-end payroll processing for a multi-entity, high-volume workforce.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of regular, off-cycle, and special payrolls.
- Review and approve payroll registers, reconciliations, and variance reports.
- Oversee union and non-union payroll administration in accordance with CBAs.
- Ensure compliance with Hawaii wage and hour laws and federal payroll regulations.
- Partner with HR, HRIS, Finance, and Labor Relations on payroll accuracy.
- Manage payroll audits, tax filings, and reporting requirements.
- Lead and develop payroll staff while maintaining strong operational controls.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and wage & hour laws.
- Experience interpreting and applying union contract payroll provisions.
- Proficiency partnering with HRIS and timekeeping systems.
- Ability to manage complex payroll issues and serve as an escalation point.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
