Position: Assistant Store Director

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $66,400/year

Experience:

• 5 years in the supermarket/grocery industry. Prior management experience (required).

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college background preferred.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (Ability to work nights and weekends as needed)

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Assistant Store Director to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Support daily store operations and ensure effective execution of company standards and policies.
• Perform all responsibilities of the Store Director when assigned or in their absence.
• Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance while adhering to company dress standards.
• Handle escalated customer situations professionally and ensure positive interactions with guests.
• Promote a courteous, customer-first culture throughout the store.
• Assist with training and development, including cashier and office clerk functions.
• Provide store coverage, including nights, weekends, and additional location support as required.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety requirements.
• Maintain compliance with required health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Must pass cashier training, office clerk training, and math testing after hire.
• Experience in cash handling and operational management.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have TB clearance (or obtain).
• Ability to work at other store locations as needed.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to maintain profitability and meet sales targets.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail setting.
