for years. With a strong presence in Pierre, they have recently expanded to
Mitchell, where a brand-new office is now open and ready to welcome a
compassionate, motivated Audiologist to join their team.
Position
Overview:
They are seeking
an Audiologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative
services for both adults and children (approximately 10% pediatrics). This role
offers flexibility in schedule and a supportive environment focused on patient
care—not sales. It is an ideal fit for someone who enjoys autonomy, working in
a non-commission setting, and building relationships in a growing community.
The position is
available as either full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate’s
preference.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough diagnostic hearing evaluations for
adult and pediatric patients.
- Perform and interpret audiological testing, including
VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams.
- Dispense and fit hearing aids with a focus on patient
education and satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing counseling, follow-up, and support.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.)
- Current (or eligible for) South Dakota licensure
- Experience with VA C&P testing is preferred but
not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a clinical
setting
