Advanced Audiology of NY provides hearing healthcare services to patients throughout New York and surrounding areas. The practice is seeking a confident and motivated Audiologist to join its Scarsdale, NY location.
Position Overview
The Audiologist will deliver comprehensive audiologic care with a primary focus on adult patients in a high-expectation, service-driven environment.
This role requires clinical excellence, strong patient counseling skills, and the ability to professionally manage discerning patients who value personalized attention and a premium care experience. The Audiologist will oversee the full clinical patient journey while maintaining exceptional standards of professionalism and care.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive, diagnostic hearing evaluations for primarily adult patients.
- Fitting and dispensing hearing aids and recommending proper assistive devices according to patient needs.
- Hearing aid verification, including Real Ear Measurement and Speech mapping
- Fitting/Dispensing traditional and extended wear (Lyric) hearing devices (AuD)
- Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) diagnostic assessment (AuD)
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and providing treatment and rehabilitation for tinnitus patients (AuD)
Requirements
- Masters or Doctorate in Audiology
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle a full schedule of patients
- Ability to work independently
