POSITION: EXPERIENCED POWDER COATING PAINTER
SHIFT: 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT AVAILABLE MON-FRI SCHEDULE
POSITION AVAILABLE: 3
PAY: $17-$21.50 DOE
LOCATION: TEMPE, AZ
MUST HAVE MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE WITH POWDER COATING
Powder coating painter, paint and finish products using a dry powder coat that can be treated to create a solid surface.
Their responsibilities include:
- Preparing parts: Sanding, masking, and cleaning parts
- Loading parts: Loading parts onto automated conveyor for desired finishing results
- Processing parts: Following Playbook techniques to perform powder-coating application to fabricated parts
- Inspecting parts: Inspecting components during and after processing to ensure quality standards
- Maintaining work areas: Keeping all work areas clean and organized in line with 5-S standards
- Equipment maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining powder coating guns and equipment on scheduled intervals
- Safety: Maintaining good housekeeping in line with 5-S standards and following established safety procedures
- Quality issues: Reporting all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the shift line lead or supervisor
