Studio Leader
Position Overview:
As a Studio Leader, you will be the driving force behind the growth, compliance, and development of your studio and its team. Your leadership ensures a unified, motivated team aligned with the studio’s vision and goals, delivering outstanding member experiences and achieving business success.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Growth & Team Development:
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive studio growth.
Collaborate bi-weekly with the COO on strategic initiatives.
Set and track yearly, quarterly, and monthly goals.
Lead weekly team meetings, including WIG sessions, role-playing, feedback, and training.
Plan and implement marketing events to boost studio visibility and membership.
Recruit and build a skilled team of Sales Associates and Coaches, maintaining low monthly turnover rates (under 5%).
Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to identify and address gaps at both studio and individual levels.
Conduct bi-annual performance reviews for coaches and sales associates.
Inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Team Cohesion & Clarity:
Build a cohesive team where every member embodies the qualities of an Ideal Team Player (ITP).
Ensure all team members understand and are committed to the studio’s vision.
Provide clarity on roles and expectations by consistently answering key questions:
Why do we exist?
How do we behave?
What do we do?
How will we succeed?
What is most important right now?
What is my role in achieving the vision?
Foster alignment through over-communication via emails, GroupMe, trainings, strategic sessions, studio visits, and goal-setting.
Reinforce clarity by promoting studio health through hiring, meetings, performance reviews, rewards, recognition, and, when necessary, employee dismissal.
Team Compliance & Operations:
Ensure full adherence to the Business Policies guide.
Manage Sales Associate shift schedules to guarantee proper coverage with only one SA per shift; coordinate ASL hours accordingly.
Respond to all relevant communications within 24 hours and meet all COO-set deadlines.
Handle churns, freezes, and membership changes within three business days.
Enforce class procedures including sign-in, station assignments, OTBeat usage, and timely class starts (no late member entry after 5 minutes).
Member Experience:
Actively support Sales Associates during member check-in by being present in the lobby.
Personally welcome members by name and foster positive relationships through genuine interactions.
Ensure the lobby environment is welcoming and enhances the overall member experience.
