Bus Dispatcher
Pay: $17.56 per hour
We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Bus Dispatcher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be dependable, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Dispatch and coordinate buses according to daily schedules.
- Communicate professionally with drivers and customers.
- Monitor bus routes and schedules and address any issues that arise.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to questions or concerns.
- Perform light office and administrative duties.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with daily office operations.
- Work as part of a team to ensure transportation services run smoothly and efficiently.
Schedule
- Buses operate Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Employees will work 8-hour shifts scheduled within these operating hours.
- Only one Saturday per month is required.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Comfortable communicating with drivers and the public.
- Basic computer and office skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous dispatch, transportation, customer service, or office experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must successfully pass a DOT drug screen.
- Must have reliable attendance and transportation.
