What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Staffing Agency?
Material Handler (Manufacturing / Production Lab)
We’re hiring a reliable Material Handler to support our production and product development lab. If you’re comfortable working hands-on, moving materials, and keeping operations organized, this is a great opportunity to get into a stable manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Receive, move, and store raw materials and finished goods
- Weigh ingredients and assist with batch mixing as needed
- Label containers and record basic production data
- Load/unload materials, including drums and bulk items
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
- Support quality checks to ensure products meet standards
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 to 2 years of material handling or warehouse/manufacturing experience
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and move 55-gallon drums
- Comfortable working with fragrances (not fragrance-sensitive)
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Willingness to wear PPE at all times
- Basic ability to read scales, thermometers, etc.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in manufacturing or lab environments
Pay: $18–$19/hr
