POSITION TITLE: Material Handler
DEPARTMENT: Packaging
REPORTS TO: Manager, Packaging
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To assure that packaging operations are run on time and accurately by supporting all operational needs including product staging and product movement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate with warehousing to identify and stage materials and product.
· Support packaging operations by assuring all components are loaded in machines
· Monitor progress and refill components as needed
· Utilize forklifts for material movement
· Removal of waste form operational area
· Provide additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management
· Routinely lifts, carries and moves materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Must work as part of a team.
