A full-time opportunity is available for a Database Architect to design and implement enterprise-scale database solutions and support data architecture initiatives. This role involves modeling, building, and maintaining large relational databases and data warehouse systems, as well as supporting the development of reporting solutions and dashboards.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, data pipeline automation, and dashboard development, with a strong focus on performance optimization and integration within cloud-based environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement strategies for enterprise databases, data warehouse systems, and multidimensional networks

Define and maintain standards for database operations, programming, queries, and security

Create optimized data models for data warehouses and reporting workflows

Integrate new data systems with existing infrastructure and enhance system performance

Perform data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation for 2–3 new datasets

Automate ETL processes and data uploads

Maintain current datasets and extract data to S3 locations

Create staging, fact, and dimension tables for extracted data

Develop and maintain reporting tables and build dashboards from new data sources

Deliver 2 new dashboards and maintain existing visualization solutions
Required Qualifications:
-
3 to 10 years of relevant experience

Master’s degree (M.A./M.S.) in a related technical field

Strong proficiency in R and/or SQL for data extraction and transformation

Experience supporting exploratory data analysis projects

Proficiency with ETL tools and platforms, including:

Databricks, Python, Spark, Scala, JavaScript/JSON, and PL-SQL

Experience building and optimizing data pipelines and automation workflows

U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance required
Desired Skills:

Experience creating dashboards with Qlik or similar business intelligence tools

Familiarity with cloud data structures including AWS S3, delta tables, and external tables

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality results with minimal oversight

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences
