Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated General Laborer with CNC Machinist responsibilities to join a growing manufacturing team in Kent City, MI. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has experience (or interest) in CNC machining, production, and manufacturing operations.
The primary focus of this position is supporting CNC machining operations, while also assisting with general labor tasks across the shop floor to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and assist with CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Load/unload materials and monitor machine operations
- Perform basic machine setup and adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Assist with deburring, assembly, and finishing work
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support general labor tasks throughout the facility as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Required Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or general labor
- Exposure to or experience with CNC machining preferred
- Ability to read basic measurements and use hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or Machine Operator
- Familiarity with blueprints, calipers, and measuring tools
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machining processes
