CNC Machinist – Tool & Die
Location: Worcester, MA (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist – Tool & Die to set up and operate CNC and conventional machine tools to fabricate, assemble, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. The ideal candidate can read blueprints, interpret engineering drawings, and produce high-quality components with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools.
- Manufacture, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD/CAM files.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
- Perform fitting, grinding, polishing, and assembly.
- Follow safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- 5 years of Tool & Die and/or Jig & Fixture experience.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC and manual machine tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both CNC and conventional/manual machining.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and manufacturing methods.
- Familiarity with ISO quality standards.
- Experience in bearings, metal stamping, or precision machining.
