Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Make offsets and minor adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance and keep machines clean
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of CNC machining experience (lathe and/or mill)
- Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances
- Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of CNC controls and G-code (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Skills
- Experience with setups and tool changes
- Familiarity with Fanuc or similar CNC controls
- Previous experience in a production or job shop environment
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
