Fire & Water Restoration Technician Responsibilities
- Respond to residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, mold, or storm damage.
- Perform emergency mitigation services including water extraction, structural drying, demolition, debris removal, and cleaning.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers.
- Document job progress using photos, moisture readings, and daily reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service while working directly with homeowners, business owners, and insurance representatives.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Restoration experience preferred but willing to train motivated individuals for select positions.
- IICRC certifications are a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus
Opportunities Available
Cleaners
- Perform detailed cleaning of residential and commercial properties following fire, water, or mold damage.
- Pack-out and contents cleaning experience is a plus.
- Attention to detail and customer service are essential.
Crew Leads
- Supervise restoration crews and oversee job site operations.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Train and mentor technicians while maintaining quality standards.
Project Managers
- Manage restoration projects from initial loss through completion.
- Coordinate with customers, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and field personnel.
- Prepare estimates, manage budgets, schedule crews, and ensure customer satisfaction.
