Senior Accountant
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys digging into financial data, managing complex reconciliations, and partnering across the organization to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain accounting records and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
- Prepare daily and monthly journal entries in accordance with established accounting policies.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve variances.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules related to the leased asset portfolio.
- Assist with financial statement footnotes and disclosures related to leased assets.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to research and resolve accounting and reconciliation issues.
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders while consistently meeting established deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting and accounting processes and implement best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
- Hands-on experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and month-end close.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with accounting, finance, and cross-functional business teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
