What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Controls Technician position at Staff Financial Group?
As an Industrial Control Technician, some of your essential duties and responsibilities may include:
- Analyzing and addressing the root causes of electrical issues in order to repair complicated electrical equipment
- Maintaining microprocessors, PLC, motor drive, operator interface terminals, and robotic systems by making modifications and installing parts as necessary
- Reading and using diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering instructions
You may fit well into this role if you:
- Have a basic knowledge of electronics and electrical theories, including digital circuitry, AC/DC theory, microprocessors, and logic systems
- Can work independently and use judgement to make effective and timely decisions
- Can work as a member of a team and communicate technical information to other personnel
- Are comfortable working on a computer and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
