This is a hands-on role responsible for managing day-to-day accounting duties from payables through month-end, with a focus on accuracy and communication with Project Managers.
- Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including AIA Billings, payables, and month-end procedures.
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers to ensure accurate and up-to-date project accounting.
- Utilize Sage accounting software to manage financial data effectively.
- Coordinate with third-party company for outsourced controller duties.
- Maintain compliance with AIA documentation standards and construction industry accounting practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is a plus.
- 10 years of proven experience in construction accounting, with a focus on AIA billing and Sage accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of AIA documentation standards and construction industry accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, plus bonus potential.
