Forklift Operator (Reach Truck, Cherry Picker & Sit down Forklift)

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our fast-paced furniture fulfillment warehouse. Candidates must be proficient in operating a Stand-Up Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, and Sit-Down Forklift in a high-volume distribution environment.

This role requires individuals who can work safely and efficiently while handling large, heavy furniture products. Successful candidates understand how to properly leverage the weight and dimensions of products to pull orders quickly, accurately, and safely while maintaining productivity standards.

Available Shift Start Times:

• 6:00 AM
• 7:00 AM

Sunday - Friday Overtime may be available based on business demands and individual performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate Stand-Up Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, and Sit-Down Forklifts.
• Pull, stage, replenish, and move furniture products throughout the warehouse.
• Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Transport products to designated locations while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 year of recent forklift experience preferred.
• Experience operating Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, and Sit-Down Forklifts required.
• Previous experience in furniture, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment environments is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy furniture products throughout the shift.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing on and off equipment.
• Must understand proper lifting techniques and safe product handling practices.
• Ability to leverage product weight and positioning to move inventory efficiently while minimizing risk of injury.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume warehouse environment with demanding productivity expectations.
