Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Pay- Hourly rate: 19/hr full-time position with opportunity for growth and development .

Position Summary:

Regenerative Food Processing is in its fifth year of operation. As an early-stage business, we are working toward year-round operations. However, this position is currently active from May 2026 through December 2026. This position requires working ensures food safety by cleaning and disinfecting processing machinery, floors, and facilities, adhering strictly to USDA and GMP standards. Key duties include breaking down/reassembling equipment, using hot and cold high-pressure hoses, handling sanitation chemicals, and working in refrigerated and hot environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following; other duties may be assigned.

  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), compliance with Lockout/Tagout procedures, and adherence to Process Safety Management protocols.
  • Proactively prevent and report unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Perform complete sanitization procedures, including disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling processing equipment (e.g., grinders, conveyors, scalder, bleeding tunnel, evisceration line, Plucker, etc.) using high-pressure hot and cold-water hoses, foamers, and approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, ceilings, drains, equipment, and structural components, ensuring a sanitary and compliant processing environment.
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all processing, evisceration, and slaughter departments.
  • Properly mix, handle, apply, and store chemical sanitizers in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
  • Inspect equipment and work areas after cleaning to verify compliance with sanitation standards; promptly report any mechanical, operational, or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Ensure all waste and trash are collected and disposed of properly daily.
  • Monitor and track inventory levels of cleaning supplies and chemicals; notify management when replenishment is needed.
  • Schedule and perform routine deep cleaning of facility surfaces, including but not limited to ceilings, walls, floors, and equipment.
  • Safely operate all equipment within the assigned work area and maintain a thorough understanding of proper operating procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Assist coworkers and support plant operations as needed to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to personal safety and the safety of all coworkers by following all safety rules and reporting unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Basic Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to comprehend instructions.
  • Ability to work in cold temperatures
  • Ability to stand and use hands for long hours per day
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Good hand and eye coordination is required.

Experience Preferred

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Food or sanitation experience preferred
  • Consecutive Work History of a year with one employer within the past three (3) years.
  • Experience with livestock farming and/or poultry processing preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements when in a plant environment:

  • Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
  • May be exposed to temperatures of below 45 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
  • May handle products from 25 degrees to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
  • May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facilities.
  • Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
  • Able to stand for several hours. Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly.
