Position: Bridges Program Clinical Counselor/Coordinator (Bryt Clinical Model)

Schedule:2026-2027 School Year
Salary:Salary:Per Teacher’s Contract
To Start:August 24, 2026 (plus 2 mentoring days prior to start date, 8/19-8/20)
Qualifications:
●Licensed by DESE as School Social Worker/Adjustment Counselor, required
●Licensed by DESE as School Psychologist, preferred
●Sheltered English Immersion endorsement required
●Excellent organizational and communication skills
●Knowledge of Mass. Special Education regulations
●Ability to utilize various computer software programs - student database (X2), MS Office, Google Apps, etc.
●Ability to collaborate with colleagues and ability to function as part of a team.
●Experienced writing IEP goals and objectives
●Experienced as an IEP team member
●CPI training and certification preferred
●Bilingual preferred
Responsibilities:
●Lead a team of teachers and teacher assistants in a specialized classroom (the Bridges Classroom Bryt Clinical Model) providing short-term and long-term supports for students returning from extended absences and for students with social-emotional disabilities
●Collaborate with administrators, faculty members, families, and community providers to coordinate clinical, academic, and family interventions
●Provide individual and/or group counseling to students on a daily basis
●Intervene during crisis situations and make appropriate referrals
●Administer standardized cognitive and achievement assessments
●Collect and analyze data, and develop data collection and analysis protocols, to measure student progress and program performance
●Participate in Special Education team meetings, 504 team meetings, pre-referral meetings, guidance meetings and other meetings related to student case-management and program development, as needed
●Attend department meetings, faculty meetings, and community meetings
