Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, employee orientation, and ongoing development initiatives
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales potential
- Manage scheduling, shift assignments, and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Conduct interviews and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong team aligned with company standards
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Monitor sales performance, implement marketing initiatives, and support retail sales goals
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store policies
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising retail teams with strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability
- Proficient in inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math calculations
- Experience in employee training & development, interviewing, and onboarding new staff
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting principles
- Ability to supervise store operations including stocking, merchandising, marketing efforts, and customer service excellence
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
- Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus
