Assembly Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift (10:30PM to 6:30AM)
Strait Time OT after 45 Hours a week!
Join a stable, busy Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer where strong frontline leadership directly impacts safety, quality, production, and team performance.
This role leads 3rd shift assembly operations and is responsible for keeping people, production, and priorities moving in the right direction.
The Job
- Lead the 3rd shift Assembly team
- Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Employee Morale
- Manage labor and staffing to meet production schedules
- Coach, train, and develop Team Leaders and production associates
- Hold employees accountable to plant policies and performance expectations
- Monitor attendance, workflow, efficiency, scrap, and production results
- Work with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other support teams to solve problems
- Use production data to identify and drive improvements
- Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
- Step in to lead the department when the Assembly Manager is unavailable
What We Need
- 3–5 years of Manufacturing Supervisory experience
- Automotive Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong people leadership and accountability skills
- Experience managing production, labor, quality, and safety priorities
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
