Development Manager
ERP & Modern Integration
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead a team of software engineers delivering enterprise-grade solutions across our ERP landscape and integration platform. This role bridges deep application knowledge with hands-on technical leadership, ensuring our development practices, service architecture, and API strategy meet the demands of a modern, cloud-connected enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers building and maintaining ERP-integrated applications and supporting service layers
- Own the technical roadmap for application development, aligning delivery with business priorities and architecture standards
- Drive adoption of modern development frameworks and best practices across the team
- Oversee the design, development, and governance of APIs through Azure API Management (APIM), including policy configuration, versioning, security, and developer portal management
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and ERP functional leads to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including sprint planning, code reviews, release management, and post-deployment support
- Establish and enforce coding standards, testing practices, and CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling
- Partner with ERP vendors and third-party integrators to deliver reliable, maintainable integrations
- Provide technical escalation support for production incidents and drive root cause analysis
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a development management or technical lead role
- Hands-on experience working with or around ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, or equivalent) — understanding of data models, business processes, and integration points
- Proficiency with modern development frameworks such as .NET Core, Node.js, or Java Spring Boot
- Demonstrated experience designing and managing RESTful and event-driven service layers
- Working experience with Azure API Management — including API policies, subscriptions, products, OAuth/JWT security, and rate limiting
- Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Event Grid
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and API-first development principles
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP extensibility models or SDK frameworks (e.g., D365 Finance & Operations X , SAP BTP)
- Knowledge of OData, SOAP, or EDI integration patterns common in ERP environments
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-305, or API Management-related)
- Exposure to event-driven architecture using Azure Event Hub or Kafka
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Proven ability to lead, grow, and retain engineering talent in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and business sponsors
- Comfortable operating in an Agile/Scrum environment and adapting delivery approach as needed
- Analytical mindset with a focus on quality, performance, and operational reliability
Salary : $70 - $80
