Core Responsibilities
Targeted Mathematics Instruction: Deliver rigorous, standards-based instruction across 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade levels (including Pre-Algebra and Algebra I).
Bridge the Gap: Help students transition from concrete arithmetic to abstract algebraic reasoning, providing the "scaffolding" needed for diverse learners.
Data-Informed Differentiation: Use assessment data to identify students who need intervention or acceleration, ensuring no student is "lost in the middle."
Advisory & Mentorship: Serve as an advisor for a cohort of middle schoolers, focusing on their social-emotional growth, organizational skills, and character development.
Position Requirements
Licensure: Valid State Teaching License with a Secondary Mathematics or Middle School Math endorsement.
