Job Summary
The Delivery/Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from the warehouse to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience operating a variety of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods and materials from the warehouse onto/from the box truck.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse/truck.
- Assist with scheduling pick-ups/deliveries as needed.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to assist in the safe lifting and moving of items that exceed 75 lbs with the assistance of others.
- Transport goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure that all goods and materials are properly secured during transport.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any problems to the Truck Lead.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including packing and unpacking goods and materials, making and moving bales other recycling duties
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred, especially in fast-paced environments involving order fulfillment and shipping & receiving.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is highly desirable; certification is a plus.
Working Conditions: The Delivery/Warehouse Attendant will spend most of their time driving and loading/unloading goods and materials. They may be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and may need to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements: The Delivery/Warehouse must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time. They must also have good hand-eye coordination and be able to operate a variety of vehicles including box truck and forklift.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
