Duties
- Supervise students during lunch periods, ensuring they follow school rules and maintain respectful behavior
- Enforce school policies related to conduct, safety regulations, and classroom expectations in the lunchroom setting
- Maintain cleanliness of the lunch area, including cleaning tables, disposing of trash, and ensuring a hygienic environment
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and other stakeholders regarding student behavior or safety concerns
- Follow evacuation procedures and safety regulations in case of emergencies or incidents requiring evacuation or first aid response
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and staff
- Ability to manage conflicts calmly while applying conflict management strategies
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift light objects, and assist students as needed
- Prior classroom experience or teaching background is advantageous but not mandatory
