St. Thomas Aquinas Church & Catholic Student Center (STA) is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Campus Minister to join our dynamic team. This is more than a job—it’s a vocation to walk with college students during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives.

What You’ll Do
As a Campus Minister, you will play a vital role in cultivating a vibrant, Christ-centered community for college students:
Inspire Faith & Spiritual Growth
- Create meaningful opportunities for students to encounter Christ through Mass, Adoration, retreats, small groups, and the sacraments.
- Offer pastoral care, mentorship, and spiritual guidance to students and young adults.
- Help foster a culture where students grow in their relationship with God and live out their faith daily.
Build Community & Develop Leaders
- Recruit, train, and mentor student leaders and Peer Ministers.
- Plan engaging events, service opportunities, and immersion experiences that bring students together.
- Create a welcoming environment where every student feels known, valued, and included.
Collaborate & Lead
- Partner with the Coordinator of Campus Ministry, Pastor, FOCUS missionaries, and parish staff to advance the mission.
- Help implement the annual ministry plan and contribute to effective communication and outreach efforts.
- Represent STA across campus and build strong relationships with university and diocesan partners.
Who You Are
You are a joyful, faith-filled Catholic who feels called to accompany young adults and invest in their formation.
You bring:
- A strong, practicing Catholic faith and a desire to share it with others
- A bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or a related field
- Experience working with college students or young adults
- Excellent relational, organizational, and communication skills
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for ministry that happens beyond the typical 9–5
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience planning events or leading teams
- Familiarity with college campus culture and student life

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
