We are looking for a Special Education Department Lead to join our team and provide coaching to our special education teachers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special needs, a passion for helping others, and excellent communication and organizational skills. This position requires at least 5 years of teaching experience and a Teaching Certification for Special Education.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Assess student progress and modify IEPs as needed.
• Provide instruction in academic, social, and behavioral skills.
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure that students are receiving the best possible education.
• Develop and implement behavior management plans for students with challenging behaviors.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide updates on student progress.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
