Special Education Teacher

How you’ll be there for students:

Responsibilities
How you’ll do it:
- Utilize Catapult Learning models to teach knowledge, build confidence, and address student needs.
- Provide academic, social, and emotional support for students requiring extra assistance.
- Conduct assessments, develop data-driven plans, and collaborate with school staff and families to enhance student outcomes.
- Implement behavior support and crisis intervention strategies to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Maintain instructional materials, computer lab components, and a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Identify eligible students through testing and enroll them per Catapult Learning guidelines.
- Develop individualized lesson plans, behavioral assessments, and support plans.
- Supervise students, ensuring safe transitions to and from classrooms.
- Attend training, pass assessments, and deliver targeted instruction to eligible students.
- Other assigned duties.

What we’ll need from you:
The Positive, Enthusiastic Teacher We Seek Has These Qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree required; special education degree preferred.
- Valid teaching license.
- Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
- Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
